The midfielder now has four goals in his last five games for Barcelona and after the game he admitted it was a “bittersweet” moment for him.

“I’m happy with what the team has given and thank you to the fans. It’s special, but bittersweet because we were behind by a goal and couldn’t advance,” he said.
Barcelona’s defense of the Copa del Rey trophy is now over, but Bernal says his team can go further and taste glory in both the league and Europe this season.
“If we move forward with this mentality and hunger, we can achieve great things,” he said. “We are going to go all out, compete in the Champions League round of 16 and in the league.”
Barcelona will take a few days to recover but then face another big week at home and away. The first is a visit to the Athletic Club before the game against Newcastle in the Champions League.
