The 2026 MAAC Tournament for men’s and women’s basketball begins Thursday at Jim Whalen Boardwalk Hall in Atlantic City, NJ.
The top seed in this year’s men’s division is Merrimack, while the women’s division is topped by Quinnipiac. The women’s championship game will take place on Monday night, while the men’s final will take place on Tuesday.

10 teams fielded both the men’s and women’s tournaments. First round games will take place on Thursday, the quarterfinal round will be split between Friday and Saturday, and the semifinals are scheduled for Sunday.
The Sienna men earned the No. 3 seed and the Sienna women earned the No. 5 seed. Both teams received byes into the MAAC quarterfinals and will play on Saturday.
Mount St. Mary’s won last year’s men’s tournament, while the Fairfield women have won two consecutive championships.
